Men’s Shoes AU/US 8 – 14
Men’s sizes share the upper part of the women’s millimeter scale — an AU/US 9 women’s equals an AU/US 8 men’s at the same foot length. Match your longest foot in millimeters.

Women’s and men’s scales overlap
The men’s chart starts where the women’s chart reaches AU/US 9 — same millimeter ranges, different printed sizes. If a style is made in both, match by foot length, not by gender label.
Slippers and boots
Sheepskin slippers should feel close-fitting at first. The wool flattens and the upper relaxes, so a firm start turns into a comfortable, custom-like fit.
Children’s Shoes AU/US 8 – 6
The children’s scale runs from AU/US 8 (toddler) through AU/US 1–6 (youth) and continues into the adult charts. Measure both feet — they can differ — and use the longer one.

Fit Notes for Sheepskin
How EMU Australia footwear is meant to fit, straight from the brand’s fitting guidance.
Snug now, perfect later
EMU boots and slippers should feel snug at first. The Australian sheepskin stretches and molds to your feet with wear for a custom, comfortable fit — do not buy a size up to get instant room.
The footbed settles
The sheepskin footbed compresses approximately 5 mm with wear, adding a little extra length and volume over the first wears.
Between sizes? Size up
If your measurement falls between two rows, EMU recommends going up to the next whole size. Half sizes are limited across the range.
Wear them barefoot
For the best fit and comfort, EMU footwear is designed to be worn barefoot — the natural sheepskin regulates temperature in both winter and summer.
Built on the AU scale
EMU prints Australian sizing, where AU and US are the same number. UK runs two sizes below AU/US for women and one below for men — always match by millimeters instead.
Water resistant, not waterproof
Double-face sheepskin styles resist light moisture, but soak-through and heat damage are not covered by sizing — treat and dry them properly to keep the fit true.
How to Measure
Heel against a wall
Place the back of your heel against a wall while standing on a piece of paper, weight on the foot.
Mark the longest toe
Mark the longest point of your toes on the paper — not always the big toe.
Measure both feet
Measure the length of both feet in millimeters, as they might vary slightly. Use the longer measurement.
Match the chart
Check your longest measurement against the millimeter ranges in the size chart above. Between two sizes? Take the larger one.
Sheepskin Care
Regular care
Brush the sheepskin lightly to lift the wool and remove dust. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild wool detergent; never machine wash or tumble dry.
Drying
If the boots get wet, let them air dry naturally away from direct heat and sunlight — radiators and hair dryers will shrink and harden the suede.
Keeping the shape
Stuff boots lightly with paper while drying and store them in a cool, ventilated place. Avoid folding the shafts, which can crease the suede.
Refresh the wool
A sprinkle of sheepskin powder or a brief airing deodorizes naturally — the wool itself is breathable and odor resistant, so deep cleaning is rarely needed.
Conversions follow EMU Australia’s published sizing. This guide is an indication only — individual fit may vary between styles.
